1. Start with your school’s portal
Open the PowerSchool link supplied by your school or district and sign in to the correct student record. GPAcity does not ask for your credentials or connect to student accounts. If mobile and web show different information, check the school’s browser portal too.
2. Check grades, then the academic record
Look for a GPA field in the school-enabled grades view or a published report card/transcript. Read its term and weighted/unweighted label. Assignment scores and current class percentages are not, by themselves, a cumulative GPA.
3. If GPA is missing
PowerSchool allows schools to configure parent/student access and GPA display. An absent field does not mean you have a zero GPA. Ask the counseling or registrar office where cumulative GPA is published and whether your grade level receives one.
4. Reconcile an estimate
Use posted course grades, GPA credits and the school’s exact scale. Compare the same semester and course set; a live gradebook may not yet be reflected on the official record. Keep the transcript as the authority if your estimate differs.

Put the numbers together
A portal showing “Math 92%” is a course grade. A transcript showing “Cumulative, unweighted, 3.56 / 4.00” provides a different kind of information.
