Open the district’s portal

Use the Aeries link on your school or district website and select the correct student. Available portal features depend on school settings. A mobile gradebook score and a transcript GPA should not be assumed to be the same number.

Read transcript and course history carefully

If your school exposes transcript or course-history information, look for the GPA label, included years and weighting. An Aeries record can contain multiple GPA definitions; copy the one requested by your application or advisor.

Avoid the staff-report dead end

Aeries’ GPA Calculation Report documentation explicitly excludes Parent and Student Portal groups from that report. If a tutorial tells you to open that staff report, it may not apply to your account. Ask your counselor for the relevant record instead.

ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE

Put the numbers together

A weighted 4.10 and an unweighted 3.65 can both describe the same student under different rules. The label is part of the result.

Method and limits

These examples use stated mathematical assumptions, not a claim that every institution uses the same policy. Read our methodology or check the available institution-specific profiles. Your transcript is the official record.
