Evidence before school-specific claims
Use the institution’s registrar, catalog, or official academic policy. Keep campus, academic level, effective period, grade mapping, exclusions, and display behavior separate. An access date records when a source was checked, not the academic year to which every rule applies.
From a claim to a calculation
Supported rules are recorded with a policy version and linked to test fixtures. Unknown or conflicting rules must not silently become zero-point grades or generic school defaults. A limited profile may support finalized letter grades while excluding repeats and unresolved marks.
Editorial and mathematical review have different jobs
Automated tests can check arithmetic; they cannot establish that a policy applies to every student. Institution pages and guides disclose their AI-assisted status. Independent human review is still pending and is not implied by a passing test.
Changes and correction standard
A confirmed calculation change should update the source record, policy version, regression test, affected explanatory text, and change log. This is the documented maintenance standard, not a claim that a staffed editorial team or recurring review service already exists.
