Schoology course grades, assignment scores and the school’s final academic record can differ in scope. Start with the course grading policy.
A semester course grade can combine quarter grades and a final exam with school-defined weights. It is not the same calculation as semester GPA across classes.
Check the exact grade symbol and school policy. A pass may award credit without entering GPA, while a failing outcome may be excluded or may count as zero points.
Transfer credit acceptance and transfer-grade inclusion are separate decisions. Use the GPA definition maintained by the receiving institution, not a blanket rule.
Retaking a course does not automatically erase the original grade. Both attempts, a replacement attempt, or another policy-defined treatment may apply.
