First-year A–G high-school semester grades only, summer after grade 9 through summer after grade 11. No repeats, college coursework, other calendars or eligibility decisions.

A/B/C/D/F count as 4/3/2/1/0; plus/minus is ignored. Eligible honors add up to 8 points, with at most 4 from grade 10. Nonresidents receive weight only for eligible AP/IB courses. D/F earns no bonus.
