CALCULATE & PLAN
GPA converter with your own grade scale
Convert individual course percentages to grade points with an explicit mapping, then weight them by GPA credits. An overall percentage alone is not enough to determine a GPA.
1. Define the course conversion
Example mapping — verify firstCopy your school’s percentage thresholds and grade points below. Highest minimum first; the final minimum must be 0. Lower bounds are inclusive, and a band ends at the next higher threshold. We do not round a percentage before matching it. This tool does not convert a transcript-wide percentage, a foreign qualification, or an aggregate weighted GPA.
Illustrative A–F mapping, not an institution or international conversion policy. Edited fields always take precedence over the template name.
2. Enter individual courses
The starting rows are illustrative. Enter finalized percentage grades and GPA credits; leave out pass/fail, repeats, transfers, and any course needing a separate policy decision.

A worked example
Only under the illustrated mapping (90+ = A/4 and 80+ = B/3), 92% in 3 credits and 85% in 3 credits becomes (12 + 9) ÷ 6 = 3.50. Different thresholds can produce a different answer.
